Beauty in Black and White

I love all different tones in photography, but there’s just something special about Black and White Photography that changes the whole dynamics of an image. You can have a photo with overwhelming amounts of greenery or busy backgrounds, but when you convert to B&W, there are details that pop out and the image takes on a whole new dimension.  B&W photography is very elegant, bold, and beautiful.  Most of us see in color (obviously), so viewing the world in B&W is not something we are used to experiencing, which is why I think I love it so much.  Here are a few of my favorite B&W shots.  These were all shot in color (which I ALWAY shoot) and then converted in Photoshop.
